Deliciously drowsy in one of the armchairs in the lounge or lulled by the first rays of sunshine on the terrace, one could happily stay here for hours comparing notes on the day’s activities. Here, it’s as if time had stood still and one is always in a good mood. Flowery fabrics, painted wood and plump quilts: gentle touches wherever you care to cast your eyes… It’s no surprise that the lady players in the Evian Masters should have chosen the Ermitage and its cosy “country residence” ambience as their favourite home from home. |
